Growing marijuana outdoors
Location:
Properly locating the perfect location to plot a grow is the most important factor a guerilla grower is faced with when setting up an outdoor marijuana grow. You will need to look long and hard for the best spot. The most ideal place to set up an outdoor marijuana grow would be on a grassland containing small trees and brushes with a near by river or stream. To help detour unwanted guests if possible plant near sticker bushes, berry bushes and other tall fast growing foliage can do wonders for help concealing your outdoor marijuana plot.
Security:
Always remember that no marijuana grow is 100% safe of thieves, hunters, animals or the law enforcement. When growing marijuana outdoors you should always consider security. Being safe and using your utmost discretion are very important factors to remember when picking the perfect grow plot. Always remain 100% percent discrete and never ever tell anyone that you're growing and or where you're grow operation is located. That is between you and you yourself. Do not try to get yourself overnight fame by going on the local news and letting people film you grow operation.
I read a lot of books and magazine articles that say growing marijuana on your own property is the best way to do it. However, I believe that you shouldn't grow marijuana on your property unless it's remote and well hidden from the public. You don't want no prying eyes seeing what you're doing in your own backyard. If you can afford to it is always a good idea to put up a fence around your property and in the back put up a large six-foot or higher wooden post fence, keeping all prying eyes and animals from trespassing on your property.
Even if you are located within a state that the people have voted marijuana to have medicinal value, has not stopped the federal government from raiding growers and dispensaries that abide and remain within the guidelines of the state sanctioned laws.
Sunlight:
Light exposure is very important factor when locating the perfect grow plot for your marijuana outdoor garden. you will need to determine which location the sun will shine for the longest period of time throughout the day over your canopy the most ideal light for an outdoor grow op is a spot that will receive 4 - 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Usually the south side of a hill or mountain receives the most direct sunlight. Planting your marijuana plants facing the east to west sun can be good exposure if you receive the full morning to afternoon sun and the mid day sun as well. However if you only have the option to choose from direct mooring sun or direct afternoon-evening sun, I recommend growing your marijuana towards the direct morning sun because most experts agree that the marijuana plants responds better to the morning direct sunlight.
Temperature:
Cannabis will best grow at a temperature range from 75 to 86 Fahrenheit temperatures above 87 F and below 59 F will begin to lower the plants productivity to produce resin glands. Decreasing the cannabis plants THC potency tremendously. It is best to be sure and select the most accurate strain. Altitudes and climate regions should be a huge decipher in any outdoor grow when selecting your cannabis seeds or clones.
Strains:
As stated prior selecting your strains for your outdoor grow is very important. You want to make sure you choose the appropriate seeds and or clones that work well in your climate region. I recommend checking out the Attitude Seed Bank when selecting your seeds. They have a large variety of strains from all the worlds most well respected breeders and seed banks.
